2018/19 Season Underway

Abbeyfeale Utd A began the defence of their Premier League title on Sunday September 2nd at home with a hard fought 3-1 victory over Ballingarry. Trailing by 1-0 after 15 minutes, Abbeyfeale soon levelled from the penalty spot thanks to Packie O'Connor but despite having the lions share of possession had to wait until the 75th minute to take the lead through their second converted penalty courtesy of Conor Horan. An own goal from Ballingarry soon after ended the tie and gave the home side maximum points.

Unfortunately our B suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Knockaderry while on Saturday our Youths team also recorded a loss, going down 2-0 at home to Broadford Utd

Congratulations to Abbeyfeale Utd A who claimed the clubs 6th Premier Division Desmond League Title on Friday June 15th with a fantastic 3-0 victory over closest rivals Rathkeale in the League play-off Final.
